The King IS Coming

Immokalee, FL – When Mary and Joseph arrived in Bethlehem, the town overflowed with people. Every room was spoken for. Still, God’s plan unfolded in a humble stable.

That same Savior seeks a place in our heart today, even when the world is attempting to occupy every available space in our existence. Making room for Him is about quieting the noise and opening a place for His presence in our lives.

Join us Sunday morning at 7:05 as we explore moving the world aside and making room for Jesus in our lives.

Scrooged!

Immokalee, FL – Hurting people hurt people. It’ an unfortunate reality in life and becomes more prevalent during the holiday season. While we are all hustling and bustling through our paces getting ready for the celebration of the birth of our Savior, others are stewing in their own life issues. Some carry baggage from early life, others are missing loved ones and yet others are dealing with hardships many of us have never endured. While it can be the most wonderful time of the year for some, that’s not the case for all.

Join us Sunday morning at 7:05 as we dig into the holiday blues and how we can help those around us regain their joy.

Waiting and Waiting and Waiting

Wildwood, FL – They say the only thing hard than waiting on God is wishing you had. When we fail to wait for His timing, it can have significant consequences, bad consequences, expensive consequences.

Paul explains that all believers are going to experience trials and tribulations. Some are easy and others are hard. Often these trials are long and require deep commitment to our walk with the Lord. Regardless, waiting for His hand will always be the best answer for all situations.

Join us Sunday morning at 7:05 as we dig into this subject and look for answers to how and why we need to wait.

Don’t forget, we will celebrate communion at the end of service!

But Why Give Thanks?

Montgomery, AL – As we enter the holiday season it can be easy to get sucked into the hustle and bustle of meals, gifts, parties and all of the normal trappings of this time on the year and yet we completely forget why we can even do what we do.

Being thankful is not second nature to mankind. If anything we can be selfish, prideful, arrogant and believe the universe rotates around our lives. Let me ask you a question, how often do you stop and thank our Lord for all He’s done for us? Once a year, once a month, once a week or daily?

Join us Sunday morning at 7:05 as we dig into why we should thankful for the life we have and all our God does for us.

Peace in Chaos

Reynolds, GA – As odd as it may seem, contentment shines brightest in difficult times. You may face days when answers seem far away, when work feels shaky, when relationships strain, or when health weakens. Yet even in those places, contentment whispers a deeper truth: Christ strengthens us to endure. Gratitude becomes our way of saying, “I trust You, God—even here, even now.”

Paul learned this lesson. He was beaten, stoned, shipwrecked, bitten by a snake and left for dead. He spent a portion of his life in prison for his faith, and yet he still stood for Christ, his unwavering faith and belief sustained him. He found what was true and worthy.

Join us Sunday morning at 7:05 as we take life lessons form Paul’s life and learn to be content.

Indescribable

Reynolds, GA – Something about the early morning, its stillness, its peace, that brings us an invitation to engage with our God. Before the noise begins, before our to-do list starts calling, we have a choice to make, how will we begin our day?

When we choose to start with praise, we’re not just filling the air with words; we’re training our heart to notice God’s goodness. Gratitude always shifts our perspective from the weight of what’s ahead to God’s protection and strength.

Join us tomorrow morning at 7:05 as we walk through praising our God and how that impacts our lives.

Worried, Concerned, Upset?

Montgomery, AL – This past week I was reminded of the reality of the goodness of our God. As I continue to read through the bible, I have become keenly aware of the turmoil of His chosen people during the various reigns of the kings as well as when He was here on earth. The turmoil and chaos reigned as they walked further from the Lord. When they sought the Lord and vowed to follow Him, their lives became better and peace resided in their land.

Do you feel particularly troubled these days? Maybe it’s work or a relationship or the general state of affairs in the world. Regardless if we seek the Lord He will bring us peace.

Join us Sunday morning at 7:05 as we dig deeper into the ploys of the enemy and the peace of our Lord and how we apply these lessons to our lives.
