Into The Wilderness

Reynolds, GA – Every generation has had it’s difficulties and challenges. As a child of the second world war, my generation has seen great strides in technology that have given us great conveniences in life. We no longer struggle with the physical challenges to stay warm or feed our families. That hard work is past.

We’ve lived through the Jesus movement of the 60’s and 70’s and learned of a God that not only loves us, but loves us so much He sacrificed His son, His only son for us. That’s a far cry from the God I was taught about in ‘church’ as a kid growing up.

While technology has it’s advantages, technology can not replace a solid relationship with our God. Can it enhance our education and understanding, absolutely, but it’s no substitute for the hands on hard work of learning of His ways and how we walk through life on His path.
