It's not about making a point…let's make a difference

Trust, Faith, Love

“But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.” – Jeremiah 17:7

The one thing I struggle with, more than any, is wanting to help our Father help us through difficult times. When money gets tight or resources are low, I start to scout for work or consider a loan to help bridge the gap. Such has been the case this year with the ever moving target of our work and finances.

Add in some unexpected equipment failure or repairs on the production units and life can get downright hard leaving you wondering about His plan for your life. Because of difficulties we’ve had so far this year, I really felt the Lord wanted me to secure a loan to clean up our finances and help smooth the bumps on our road.

I went through the lengthy process of filling out loan paperwork only to have the financial group tell me they don’t loan money to none LLC companies. I felt pretty foolish at that point and decided I would seek out another group whom I knew would support us. As I researched their products I fell under heavy conviction. I sensed the Lord asking me, “Do you want to do this in your own strength or do it the way I want it done?” In that moment I realized I was once again trying to help the Lord help Him take care of us.

Situations will drive us to search out solutions on our own when we ‘feel’ God is moving to slowly to handle the circumstances of our life. This is when we have to nail our foot to the floor, hang on to the Lord with all our might and let His plan unfold. His plans are always better. Not only have we picked up additional work, He has provided numerous individuals to fill the gaps we have in personnel.

When life get’s hard remember this, Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
