It's not about making a point…let's make a difference

Transparent Living

3 John 1:3 ‘’It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it.

One of the greatest tools I was given upon returning to the Father’s house was the need to live a transparent life. Nothing hidden, everything out in the open, always tell the truth.

Living a transparent life is not easy. There are times when the Lord asks you to bare your soul to the world. It’s always embarrassing and deeply personal but, in being transparent, it allows others to know they can move beyond their sins, past and present. It’s in these times I truly understand how much I have been forgiven and how grateful I am for my Lord’s grace and mercy.

It’s been my experience that moving from religious to righteousness is all part of the process of sanctification. Being sanctified is the state of growing in divine grace as a result of Christian commitment after baptism or conversion. Living a transparent life is key to sanctification.

Our world is filled with phony people and institutes that don’t always tell the truth. It seems to have become an acceptable norm in our society. What will your choice be today, transparency or deception?

I have found my Grandpa Ford’s wisdom on truth and right action is still true today, “You do right, you’ll come out right.”
