Living for a Greater Cause
Recently a pastor friend of mine accepted a position at his denominational headquarters to lead a national ministry. As I pondered his move and the impact on his church, I wondered who the congregation might call to shepherd God’s people there. For a fleeting moment I wondered if it could be me. That thought seemed fairly ridiculous considering the current path the Lord has me on, but, none the less, I mulled over the possibility.
Seekers of God
Recently a ruling by man’s court has brought about great consternation among many of my friends. Most of those friends are avid followers of Christ, some are not. I have prayed about what my reaction should be and it is this, I will continue to proclaim the truth of our Lord in love. Yes, it is that simple. Man can not change God’s word, nor does he have the authority to stop us from the great commission.

Remaining Vertical With God
Time and time again, the Lord has been my vindicator. At this point in my life, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had my name drug through the muck because someone didn’t like me or what I do for one reason or another. 99.9% of the time, their rational makes no sense or was an out and out lie. Each time my flesh screamed for justice and yet the Lord said let me handle it.
My God Shall Provide
Phil 4:19 ‘And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.’ This has been our way of life for the last 11 years. We rely full on His mercy and grace to provide every need for our family and business. The ability to trust Him completely has been a journey though, it did not happen over night.
Divine Appointments
Not everything that happens in life that doesn’t turn out as expected should be seen as a set back or a negative. Often the Lord uses the circumstances of life for more than we can ever begin to understand.
Faithfulness in Our Calling
No matter what happens in life, as long as we are willing to stay faithful to the Lord’s calling on our lives, He will be with us and prosper that which He has called us to do.
