New Beginnings
In the bible, the number seven represents the completion and perfection of things that are both physical and spiritual. 2017 was the 7th year MMTV streamed sportsman drag racing. While we have been streaming drag racing since 2006, MotorManiaTV was birthed in 2011. MotorManiaTV, just like Dragstory, was started at the direction of the Lord to be a company that represents Him in the Marketplace. Most of the time we get that right, sometimes we do not or our actions are mistaken for something they are not. When we get it wrong, we do our best to make it right and seek forgiveness.
The number eight in the Bible signifies Resurrection and Regeneration. I can tell you I am certainly in need of that! Eight represents the number of a new beginning. Eight is 7 plus 1 and since it comes just after seven, which itself signifies an end to something, so eight is also associated with the beginning of a new era or that of a new order.
2018 is MMTV’s eighth year. As January dawned, the landscape of our business changed significantly. We moved to YouTube, our second unit has been temporarily shutdown, several promoters have either stopped promoting or have gone in a different direction for their streaming needs, if they are still streaming their races at all. Are we still busy, yes, our phone continues to ring with new opportunities, some we’ve never imagined possible.
Sometimes the future can look very scary. It can be filled with doubt and anxiety. However, I have found that if I trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding, He will make the path straight for me even when I can see nothing ahead.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS
Be bold and strong. Resolutely leave the past behind. Do it on purpose, and set your heart on what you can do to move on. Nothing will change the mistakes that you have made. Be finished with regret and the dread that overwhelms you. Ask for and receive My forgiveness. I will be with you in your new beginning, says the Lord. Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
