Just Say Jesus

Romans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

We’ve been through many trials this years. Some personal, some business related. Many of the problems have been easy and others have been very hard. There were times when we did not know if our company would survive the day. In all of these things I called on the name of Jesus. Not because it was my ‘last resort’, but my first thought.

The other day a friends mom was taken to the hospital with chest pains. He made a post on Facebook about what was happening. My, and many others, first thought was prayer. She’s doing fine and will be following up with a cardiologist. When the trailer for unit 2 was damaged last Thursday, my first thought was to call on the power of our Lord for resolution…and it was resolved with minimal pain and effort. All because He cleared the path.

When trouble strikes your home of work, what’s your first impulse? Do you panic, try to sort it out, look to friends or family for answers? Perhaps, just perhaps, you should call on the name of the Lord. If you do, He will make it all work according to His plan and purpose.
